Wesley's Story
I'm a Southern California native spending time where I was born in South Orange County as well as where I was raised in Santa Barbara. My passions haven't changed much... I grew up loving family, friends, sports & surfing. What has changed is my compassion for others and the ability to take myself less seriously. For the majority of my adult life I Produced and Directed films about things I'm passionate about, giving me the opportunity to do what I love which is spend time with some amazing people and travel the world. While I continue on that path I've also started a second career in real estate which I'm focusing on lately to create the foundation for Kayla and I's future.
Kayla's Story
I grew up in the small town of Mentone which is off hwy 38 at the base of the mountains in Southern California. After graduating high school I went off to college in San Diego and then lived in Kauai for a bit then moved back in 2003 to San Clemente. I have a great passion for God, family, friends, sports, exploring, art, music, adventuring, thriving on nature along with a compassion for helping others. I have been within Aesthetics for 20 years and Clinical Aesthetician since 2003. I also have been blessed to utilize my entrepreneurial skills & work along with some of the best athletes in the world by bringing some contracts to the table within the sports and entertainment industry and also being able to travel the world. I went back to school in 2009 and received a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. One day I would like to go back and finish the one year I have left for my Bachelor in science and nursing but right now my focus is creating a beautiful life of expansion with my soulmate. Today, I am collaborated with Newport Dermatology Institute as a Clinical Aesthetician, have a private clientele, and pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors.
Our Relationship
Wes and Kayla met in Laguna Beach on August 19th, 2016 at Wes's sister Jade's 30th Birthday but didn't realize that they had been facebook friends for 7+ years at that time haha. Their hearts go out to Jade for the forever match made. Around three weeks later Wes contacted Kayla to hang out, they went to a movie on monday September 12th, 2016 at the Cinepolis in Dana Point. The movie ended but the deep connection taking place was just the beginning for these Forever Soulmates. This night was a movie in itself as they got locked in the Cinepolis theatre together until the early hours of the morning. Around 4ish in the morning a cleaning lady stumbled upon the fort Wes had made for them in a cubby hole behind the theatre chairs utilizing the pillows from the couches. They had been enjoying each others company for hours, while cuddled up sharing life stories. They left, without the alarms ringing and huge smiles on their faces.
Their relationship is filled with so many heavenly blessings and continuous adventures. They are beyond thankful that God brought them together as they both have waited their whole lives for this day to live a life with their forever soulmate by their side. Fast forward to February 14th, 2018 on a trip to Las Gaviotas, Mexico they got engaged. Now a little over 2 years after getting locked in a movie theatre at their first movie together they are getting married September 22nd, 2018 and can't wait to celebrate their most important date of their lives with you.
